In this collection there are some historical ‘scratches’ extending with harmony on the whole surface where the plates are positioned. There are also ‘trompe l’oeil’ effects taken from the tradition of ‘cementine’, together with some typical and very expressive signs of the Apulian and Mediterranean architectural culture in general. The result is a “scratched” surface that recounts stories of men, whose effects are identified and given more value by the light which grazes the reliefs of the stone. We have worked on the hexagonal shape, typical of ‘cementine’, in order to obtain a ‘trompe l’oeil’ effect but, unlike the ‘cementine; it is monochrome and made of a single material.
